2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
3/4 c. water
3/4 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs
4 oz. unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Beat all ingredients on low
speed 30 seconds, scraping bowl constantly.
Beat on high speed 3 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally.
