Easy Caramels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. light corn syrup
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. cream
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine sugar, syrup, butter and 1/2 cup cream. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Add remaining 1/2 cup cream and cook to 240\u00b0. Remove from heat and add vanilla.
    Pour into a 9 x 9-inch pan. Cool and cut into squares.
    Wrap in waxed paper.
