Topping For Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. brown sugar (don't pack it)
    1 1/2 c. white Karo syrup
    1/2 stick oleo
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Boil 3 minutes, stirring.
    Cool to lukewarm.
    Add 1 large can evaporated milk.
    Beat until well mixed.
    This keeps a long time in the refrigerator.
    Serve on warm cake, ice cream or puddings.
