Mattie'S Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. sweet milk
1/2 stick of margarine or small hand of Crisco
1/2 tsp. vanilla
self-rising flour

Preparation

Work all this together with enough self-rising flour to make a stiff dough.
Roll this out and cut out cookies and bake on buttered baking sheet.
