Taco Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/3 c. chicken broth
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 large onion, chopped
2 (4 oz.) cans chiles, diced (green)
8 oz. sour cream
10 (10-inch) corn or flour burrito style tortillas, quartered
2 1/2 c. cooked chicken, diced
8 oz. or more shredded Cheddar cheese (2 c.)
sliced green onions
2 fresh tomatoes, chopped
Preparation

In saucepan, combine the first 4 ingredients.
Simmer for 20 minutes.
Cool slightly.
Add sour cream.
Set this gravy aside. In a 10 x 13-inch cake pan, lightly greased, layer the next 3 ingredients (2 or 3 layers).
Spread gravy on top of each layer. Top with sliced green onions and tomatoes for garnish.
Mild salsa may be used instead of tomatoes.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 30 minutes in a 10 x 13-inch pan.
