Butterscotch Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1 baked 9-inch pastry shell
    2 Tbsp. water
    2 c. cold milk, divided
    2 egg yolks, beaten
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 egg whites
    4 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat whites until stiff peaks form.
    Gradually beat in brown sugar. Stir in vanilla.
    Pile onto pie.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 until brown.
