Deep-Dish Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 stick oleo or butter
    1/2 to 1 c. sugar (if fresh peaches, use 1 c.)
    1 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    pinch of salt
    1 c. milk
    1 small can sliced peaches or 6 to 8 fresh peaches, sliced
Preparation
    Melt butter in deep baking dish.
    Mix sugar, baking powder, salt, flour and milk; pour into melted butter.
    Do not stir.
    Put peaches on top and do not stir.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
