Creamed Macaroni Meat Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground meat
    salt and pepper
    1/3 c. chopped green pepper
    1 clove garlic, finely chopped
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 (8 oz.) container sour cream
    1 c. (small curd) cottage cheese
    1 egg, beaten
    1 c. uncooked macaroni or 2 c. cooked macaroni
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Brown meat and drain.
    Add salt, pepper and garlic.
    Stir in tomato sauce.
    Cover and simmer 10 minutes. In a bowl combine sour cream, cottage cheese and egg.
    Mix. Stir in cooked macaroni.
    In a 2-quart baking dish, layer half of macaroni mixture, then half of meat mixture.
    Repeat.
    Bake 30 minutes or until hot.
    Sprinkle with cheese and bake until cheese melts, about 5 minutes.
