Pear Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can crushed pineapple
    1 large can pears
    1 large Cool Whip
    1 lemon
    2 envelopes Knox gelatine
    16 slices American cheese
    20 large marshmallows
    2 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1 stick butter
Preparation
    Dissolve Knox gelatine in 1 cup hot water.
    Add juice from pears and pineapple, 1/4 cup sugar and juice from 1/2 lemon. Heat. Stir until sugar is dissolved.
    Add fruit.
    Cool.
    Pour into a large Pyrex dish. Chill until firm.
