Hot Fruit Compote - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) can peach halves
    1 (16 oz.) can pears
    1 (16 oz.) can apricots
    1 (16 oz.) can pineapple chunks
    1 (16 oz.) can pitted light sweet cherries
    5 Tbsp. butter
    3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
    3 tsp. curry powder
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Drain syrup from all fruits.
    Turn fruit into a 2 1/2-quart casserole.
    Melt butter, sugar and curry powder in a pan with juices.
    Pour mixture over fruit.
    Bake 1 hour.
    Serves 12.
