Creamy Lemon Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs
    1/2 c. sugar, divided
    1/3 c. margarine or butter, melted
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    3 1/2 c. cold milk, divided
    1 (8 oz.) tub Cool Whip whipped topping, thawed and divided
    2 (4 oz.) pkg. Jell-O lemon flavor instant pudding and pie filling
Preparation
    Mix crumbs, 1/4 cup of the sugar and margarine in 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Press mixture onto bottom of pan.
    Beat cream cheese, remaining sugar and 2 tablespoons of the milk until smooth.
    Stir in 1/2 of the whipped topping.
    Spread over crust.
    Pour remaining milk into medium bowl.
    Add pudding mix.
    Beat with wire whisk until well blended.
    Pour over cream cheese layer.
    Refrigerate 4 hours until set or overnight.
    Garnish with additional whipped topping before serving, if desired.
    Makes 18 servings.
