Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 medium potatoes
    1/2 c. milk
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1 egg
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 tsp. celery seed
    1/4 tsp. dry mustard
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1/4 c. onion
    celery and parsley to taste
    4 hard-boiled eggs
Preparation
    Cook potatoes until tender, dice and set aside.
    Blend milk, sugar, vinegar, 1 egg, butter, cornstarch, salt, celery seed and mustard; cook on low heat until thick.
    To this add mayonnaise, onion, celery, parsley and diced hard-boiled eggs.
    Add diced potatoes and mix well.
    Refrigerate until cool.
