Rice Gruel(Lugaw) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. rice
    2 chicken wings/thighs
    4 cloves crushed garlic
    1/2 tsp. grated ginger
    2 Tbsp. diced onion
    1 Tbsp. patis (fish sauce; optional)
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    salt
Preparation
    Clean chicken well.
    Wash rice and drain.
    Boil water.
    Add patis, rice and chicken.
    Boil on medium-high heat.
    Cook until soft.
    Fry garlic, onion and ginger in a large pot.
    Pour in rice mixture.
    Add salt to taste.
    Serve immediately.
