Wild Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. wild rice, rinsed well with cold water
    1 stick butter
    3 to 4 green onions, chopped
    1 small pkg. slivered almonds
    3 c. chicken broth
    1/4 lb. mushrooms, cleaned and sliced
Preparation
    Melt butter in skillet; add rice, onions, mushrooms and almonds.
    Saute until
    rice
    lightens
    in color, about 10 minutes. Place in
    covered casserole dish and add chicken broth. Place in 350\u00b0
    oven\tand
    bake,
    covered,
    for
    1 hour.
    There probably will be some liquid left.
    This dish sits well and is great for parties and also good reheated.
