Buttermilk Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. buttermilk
    3 1/2 c. cake flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tbsp. water
    1 tbsp. lemon flavoring
    5 eggs
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar, add buttermilk, soda and water. Add flavoring then add eggs, one at a time, then add flour last. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour.
