Swiss Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    garlic
    3 or 4 potatoes
    salt, pepper and nutmeg
    sliced green onions
    shredded Swiss cheese
    1 1/2 or 2 c. milk
    1 beaten egg yolk
    butter
Preparation
    Butter a casserole and rub it with the garlic.
    Peel and thinly slice the potatoes. Arrange in layers in casserole, sprinkling each layer with salt, pepper, nutmeg, sliced green onions and shredded Swiss cheese.
    Scald the milk and slowly add the egg yolk.
    Pour over the potatoes and dot with butter. Bake 1 hour or more at 350\u00b0.
