Microwave Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. unsalted dry-roasted peanuts
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    In glass mixing bowl, combine peanuts, sugar, corn syrup and salt. Cook on High (100% power) 7 to 9 minutes until mixture is bubbling and peanuts are brown. Quickly stir in butter and vanilla. Cook on High 2 to 3 minutes longer. Add baking soda. Stir quickly just until mixture is foamy. Pour immediately onto greased baking sheet. Let cool about 15 minutes until firm. Break peanut brittle into pieces. Store in an airtight container.
