Pineapple Surprise Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple (juice and all)
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    1 egg
    2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. coconut
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 cube oleo
    3/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. evaporated milk
Preparation
    Put crushed pineapple, 1 1/4 cups sugar, flour, egg, soda and salt in a bowl; mix with a fork.
    Pour into ungreased 13 x 9-inch pan (batter will be thin) . Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes. Remove from oven.
    While still hot, sprinkle with coconut and chopped nuts.
