Peanut Butter Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. peanut butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. butter
6 Tbsp. heavy cream
1 c. powdered sugar
Preparation

Cream shortening; gradually add peanut butter and cream until smooth.
Add sugar and cream until mixture is light and fluffy. Add well beaten eggs and mix well.
Combine all dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture alternately with milk.
Stir in vanilla.
Spoon mixture into 2 greased 9-inch layer cake pans and bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 minutes or until cake pulls away from sides of pan.
Cool and frost with frosting.
