Baked Lasagne - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 Tbsp. olive or vegetable oil
    1/2 clove garlic, minced
    1 medium onion, finely chopped
    1/4 tsp. sweet basil
    2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
    4 (6 oz.) cans water
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Meat sauce:
    In a large skillet, brown ground beef in oil. Add garlic, onion, sweet basil, tomato paste, water, salt and pepper.
    Simmer 1 hour; stir occasionally.
