Texas Pecan Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. butter or margarine
    2 c. sugar
    10 egg yolks
    10 egg whites
    4 1/2 c. sifted cake flour
    2 c. chopped Texas pecans
Preparation
    Cream
    butter and sugar together until fluffy.
    Beat egg yolks until
    thick
    and
    lemon colored.
    Add to creamed mixture and blend thoroughly.
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Alternately add egg whites and sifted cake flour.
    Beat well after each addition. Fold
    in
    pecans.
    Bake
    at
    325\u00b0
    for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until done.
