Sparkling Fruit Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    2 (46 oz.) cans pineapple juice
    1 qt. orange juice
    1/2 c. lemon juice
    8 (10 oz.) bottles 7-Up
    orange and/or lemon slices (for garnish)
Preparation
    Simmer water and sugar for 5 minutes and cool.
    Add juices (have juices cold) and pour over ice in punch bowl.
    Slowly add 7-Up.
    If desired, decorate with fruit slices.
    Makes 7 quarts. Serves 50 to 60.
