Hash Brown Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large potatoes, shredded
    1/2 c. butter, melted
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    12 oz. grated American cheese
    1 (8 oz.) sour cream
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    2 c. corn flakes or bread crumbs
    1/2 c. butter, melted
Preparation
    Mix first 7 ingredients. Put in shallow baking dish.
    Cover with flakes or crumbs.
    Pour 1/2 cup butter over top.
    Bake, uncovered, 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
