Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 egg
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 c. oil
1 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. oatmeal
1 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. coconut
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Beat together butter, egg, sugar, brown sugar, oil and vanilla.
Mix together flour, soda, salt and cream of tartar; mix with butter mixture until well mixed.
Stir in oatmeal, Rice Krispies, coconut and nuts.
Let stand 1 1/2 hours.
Roll in balls and flatten with glass with sugar on the bottom.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
