Layered Taco Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
    1 large (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    2/3 c. taco sauce
    2 c. torn lettuce
    1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
    1/4 c. onion, chopped
    1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 c. Monterey Jack cheese, grated
    1 large tomato, chopped
Preparation
    In large bowl, combine sour cream and cream cheese; stir until smooth.
    On a large platter, spread mixture to a circle.
    Spread taco sauce evenly on top of cheese mixture.
    Layer with lettuce, green pepper, onion, Cheddar cheese and Monterey Jack cheese over the taco sauce.
    Sprinkle tomato over all.
    Serve with tortilla chips.
    Makes 8 to 10 servings.
