Banana Nut Cake - cooking recipe

2 1/2 c. flour
1 2/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
2/3 c. shortening
1/3 c. buttermilk
3 large bananas (ripe)
2 large eggs, beaten well
1/3 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. butter flavoring
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

In large bowl, sift together first 5 ingredients.
Add next 2 ingredients.
Mix well.
Add bananas; beat 2 minutes.
Add next 4 ingredients.
Add nuts.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
