Ingredients

2 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sugar, divided
1/2 c. margarine, soft
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 tsp. grated orange peel
1/4 c. Egg Beaters (egg substitute)
1 tsp. orange extract
Preparation

In small bowl, combine flour and baking soda; set aside.
In medium bowl, with electric mixer at medium speed, beat 1 sugar, margarine, orange peel and vanilla until creamy.
Add Egg Beaters; beat one minute.
Gradually stir in flour mixture until blended, mix in orange extract.
Chill dough 1 hour.
Shape dough into balls and roll in colored sugar, place 2 inches apart on lightly greased cookie sheet, press balls with fork.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes until light golden brown.
Makes about 3 1/2 dozen. 2 grams fat, 60 calories per cookie.
