Cranberry Orange Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. cranberries, coarsely chopped
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 Tbsp. grated orange ring
2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
2 Tbsp. Crisco
3/4 c. orange juice
1 egg, well beaten
Preparation

Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and soda.
Cut in shortening.
Stir in orange juice, egg and orange peel.
Mix only to moisten. Fold in cranberries and nuts.
Spoon into pans, greased and floured.
Bake 60 minutes in a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
Cook on rack 15 minutes.
Remove from pan.
Cool and wrap.
