Green Tomato Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 crusts (for 8-inch pies)
6 medium green tomatoes, sliced thin and quartered
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
3 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. grated lemon rind
1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation

Combine all ingredients, except tomatoes and crusts, together. Toss lightly.
Then mix in tomatoes lightly.
Place in pie tin. Cover and bake 40 to 45 minutes at 425\u00b0.
Serve warm as apple pie.
