Aunt Serena'S Chili Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. pickling spice (tie in cheesecloth)
    1 gal. tomatoes, peeled and quartered
    4 onions, chopped
    8 hot peppers, chopped
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. vinegar
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in dishpan.
    Cook on medium-low heat, stirring often, until thick.
    Pour into jars and seal.
