Baked Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 qt. popped popcorn
    1 c. roasted peanuts
    1 c. butter
    2 c. packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Place popcorn and peanuts in large roasting pan sprayed with nonstick cooking spray.
    Melt butter in heavy saucepan.
    Stir in brown sugar, corn syrup and salt.
    Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
    Boil for 5 minutes; do not stir.
    Remove from heat. Stir in soda and vanilla.
    Pour gradually over popcorn and peanuts, mixing well.
