Cheesy Potato Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 onion, chopped
    7 or 8 medium potatoes
    1/4 c. melted butter
    8 oz. sour cream
    1 can cream of chicken soup (undiluted)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 can mushroom pieces, drained
    2 c. grated cheese
    1 c. Pepperidge Farm herb stuffing
    3 Tbsp. butter, melted
Preparation
    Peel potatoes and cut into 1/4-inch strips. Cover with water and cook until crisp-tender. Drain and set aside. Combine 1/4 cup butter, sour cream, soup, onion, salt, pepper and mushrooms in large bowl. Mix well. Add potatoes and cheese. Stir gently. Pour into a greased oblong Pyrex dish. Mix 3 tablespoons butter and stuffing. Sprinkle on top. Bake 30 minutes at 350\u00b0 until bubbly.
