Spice Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. grape preserves
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. chopped nuts
3/4 c. raisins
Preparation

Cream shortening.
Add sugar and eggs, one at a time.
Add preserves.
Add dry ingredients with milk, beginning and ending with flour.
Add nuts and raisins that have been dredged with small amount of the flour called for in recipe.
Bake in a Bundt pan at 350\u00b0 until done.
