Jello Cottage Cheese Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can fruit cocktail or 1 c. crushed pineapple
    1 pkg. jello (any flavor, small pkg.)
    4 Tbsp. lemon juice (optional)
    1/2 c. chilled evaporated milk (whip) or 1 large Cool Whip
    1 pt. cottage cheese
Preparation
    Drain 1 cup syrup off of fruit cocktail or pineapple; heat to boiling.
    Dissolve gelatin in it; add lemon juice and cool.
    Stir in cottage cheese and whipped milk (or Cool Whip); fold in 1 1/2 cups fruit cocktail or pineapple and chill.
