Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. white sugar
    1/4 lb. butter
    1 large can evaporated milk
    1 (8 oz.) jar marshmallow creme
    2 pkg. chocolate bits (small)
    1 1/2 c. nuts, chopped
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cook white sugar, butter and evaporated milk to soft ball stage, stirring constantly.
    When done, remove from heat.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Beat until thick.
    Pour into greased dish.
