Mexicalli Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 c. finely chopped green peppers
    1 c. raw rice
    1 (15 oz.) can Hunt's tomato sauce with bits
    2 c. hot water
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. prepared mustard
Preparation
    In large skillet, cook beef until lightly browned; add onion and peppers and cook until tender.
    Drain.
    Add remaining ingredients; mix well.
    Bring to a boil.
    Cover; simmer 35 minutes.
    Stir occasionally until rice is done.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
