Chocolate Town Syrup Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    3/4 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/2 c. (1 lb. can) Hershey's chocolate flavored syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream butter or margarine and sugar together until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Sift flour and baking soda together.
    Add flour mixture alternately with chocolate syrup and vanilla to creamed mixture. Beat well.
    Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 pan.
    Sprinkle top with nuts.
    Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until done.
