Gumbo - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. chopped green, yellow and red sweet peppers
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 c. chopped onions
1 1/2 c. chopped celery
2 cloves garlic
2 to 3 qt. tomato sauce with chopped tomatoes
8 to 10 c. water
1 lb. backfin crabmeat
1 lb. fresh okra
4 fresh tomatoes, diced
2 lb. jumbo shrimp
2 lb. frozen baby shrimp
4 hard-shelled crabs
1/2 lb. smoked turkey sausage
1 lb. hot Italian turkey sausage
3 to 4 Tbsp. gumbo file
seasonings to taste
rice
Tabasco
crackers
Preparation

Melt butter or margarine.
Saute peppers, onions, celery and garlic.
Add tomato sauce with chopped tomatoes and fresh, diced tomatoes.
Add water and simmer.
