Butternut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Crisco shortening
    2 c. self-rising flour
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. butternut flavoring
Preparation
    Mix and bake in flat pan or layers at 350\u00b0 until done.
    Heat 1 cup milk and 3/4 cup sugar.
    Cook 5 minutes and add 1 cup coconut. Pour on cake.
