Early Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/2 tsp. dried basil, crushed
    1/2 tsp. dried rosemary, crushed in 2 Tbsp. hot olive oil or cooking oil
    2 c. water
    1 c. regular rice
    1 c. chopped, peeled tomato
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cook the first five ingredients until vegetables are tender. Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Cook, covered, over low heat, until rice is done, about 20 minutes.
    Makes 6 servings.
