Glazed Cherry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can frozen cherries (20 oz.)
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. cornstarch
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Mix together and cook until thick and clear; stir constantly. Let cool and pour into a baked pie shell.
    Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
    Because of the cornstarch this filling does not hold or stand very long.
    The pie should be served the day it is made.
