Apple Custard Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sliced apples
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 c. milk
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. butter
dash of nutmeg
Preparation

Arrange half
of
apples
in bottom of a 9-inch unbaked pie shell.
Mix
sugar
and flour and spread half over apples. Pour in rest
of
apples and spread remaining sugar and flour over them. Sprinkle with
cinnamon
and
dot
with butter and dash of nutmeg. Pour
milk
mixed with beaten egg and vanilla over mixture.
Bake in 375\u00b0 oven for about 50 minutes.
