German Caramel Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (18 1/2 oz.) box TV German chocolate cake mix
1/2 c. TV evaporated milk
2/3 c. salad oil
1 (10 oz.) pkg. caramel candy
1/3 c. TV evaporated milk
1 c. TV chocolate chips
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Combine cake mix, evaporated milk and oil.
Blend well
and spread one half in lightly greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake 6 minutes in preheated 350\u00b0 oven.
Meanwhile, unwrap candy and combine with 1/3 cup evaporated milk.
Melt in double boiler or microwave. Pour over baked dough.
Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts. Carefully spread remaining dough over caramel.
Bake 18 to 20 minutes.
Cool on rack.
Cut into 1 x 2-inch bars.
