Stuffed Apple Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

12 apples
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. water
few drops red food coloring
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped nuts
mayonnaise to moisten
Preparation

Peel and core apples.
Make a syrup of the water, sugar, food coloring and cinnamon in saucepan.
Add apples, 4 at a time, and cook gently, turning over carefully until done.
Let cool and stuff with a mixture of the remaining ingredients.
