Hamburger Squash Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. hamburger
1 c. onion, chopped
1 or 2 hot peppers, chopped
1/2 c. grated cheese
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can water (measure in soup can)
1 or 2 lb. squash, washed, trimmed and sliced
2/3 c. instant rice
1/3 envelope Spanish flavoring for yellow rice (optional)
1/2 c. crushed cracker crumbs
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Brown the hamburger, 1/2 cup chopped onion and the hot peppers.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Remove from heat and add the cheese, half of the soup and half the water.
Mix well together and set aside.
