Bread And Butter Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

25 to 30 cucumbers
5 c. cider vinegar
2 Tbsp. dill seed
1/2 c. salt
5 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. mustard seed
1 tsp. turmeric
1/2 tsp. cloves
onions to taste
Preparation
-
Slice pickles thin.
Combine
with salt.
Let stand for 3 hours and
drain.
Combine all the other ingredients, bringing to a boil.
Put in sterilized jars and seal.
