Butterscotch Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. margarine
    1 c. light brown sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. broken nutmeats
Preparation
    Melt margarine.
    Add rest of ingredients and spread in buttered 8 x 8-inch pan. (Double recipe in 9 x 13-inch pan.)
    Bake 25 minutes or until crusty at 350\u00b0.
    Cut in squares.
