Banana Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. vinegar
    1 c. water
    3 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. turmeric
    1 tsp. mustard seed
    9 large cucumbers
Preparation
    Peel and slice cucumbers longways.
    Cut out the seed.
    Slice enough to fill 3 quarts; pack in the jars.
    Boil rest of ingredients to dissolve sugar and salt; pour over pickles and seal. Cold pack 10 minutes.
