French Onion Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    yellow onions, sliced
    butter
    Parmesan cheese
    brown soup stock or beef broth
    salt
    French bread
    Swiss cheese
    dry sherry
Preparation
    Saute sliced yellow onions in butter.
    Place 2 tablespoons onion (cooked) in 12 ounce soup bowl.
    Add dash of dry sherry and Parmesan cheese.
    Add the boiling soup stock and dash of salt to bowl.
    Serve with a boat of toasted French bread covered with Swiss cheese in the bowl.
