Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. white sugar
    1 c. white Karo syrup
    1/2 c. water
    1/4 c. butter
    1 heaping tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    approximately 5 qt. popped corn
Preparation
    In heavy, large pot, stir and cook sugar, Karo and water to 290\u00b0 on candy thermometer.
    Add butter, soda and salt; stir, then pour over popped corn and toss until well coated.
    Spread on waxed paper to cool.
    Break apart into pieces and store in airtight container.
